May: Last month of college...very hectic, no sleep. Graduated. Didn't have time for art.
June: [link] I really liked this one, even if the room was a bit plain.
July: [link] This was a fun pic, but gosh, the composition was horrible.
August: [link] Unfinished vent art. I was still applying to jobs like crazy...got a couple of interviews, but no offers. Pretty much all of the other chem/biochem people I knew already had jobs lined up after graduation, so I felt incompetent and frustrated.
September: [link] The start of my overlay layer abuse! It helped me get some better contrast in shading. This is one of my best paintings so far!
October, part 1: [link] Still was jobless. My mom was even more of a control freak than usual, and I felt really useless and disgusted at myself. I had about 7 interviews already, but being the second best candidate doesn't earn you the job. I tried to run away from home and wanted to give up on everything.
October, part 2: [link] I started taking commissions. October was a very prolific month. I finally did get a job in the middle of the month.
November: Moved into my apartment. So much job training and overtime...didn't have much time or energy to draw, but I still did some PMD-E stuff.
December: [link] PFFFFT, this one is still a WIP but I wanted to post it anyways.
I'm so flattered you have the commission you did you for on your art summery! (I also feel like a weird knowing that the commission of Kerouac coincides with your employment, hope that doesn't mean you'll go down a similar career path, though I suppose a person who knows their way around with chemicals could mess you up...thanks again!)
...oh wait, that's not Santa. Oops, wrong person.
Bwa ha ha...never make a chemist angry~ Kerouac may have brawn, but we have chemicals~
